BEIRUT ART WEEK 2019

The fair’s yearly satellite event, BEIRUT ART WEEK, electrifies the Lebanese capital by offering a journey of exclusive artistic experiences throughout the city. From a pop-up exhibition in a building marked by the war, to a Latin-American themed evening in an abandoned factory, to unexpected get-togethers in Arabian Nights-worthy mansions, BEIRUT ART WEEK is not to be missed. The series of events, mixing contemporary art, dance and music in atypical places, celebrated the city’s architectural and cultural heritage. Throughout a promenade in downtown Beirut punctuated by monumental sculptures, visitors are invited to rediscover Lebanese architectural heritage. A series of immersive multidisciplinary events, Beirut Art Week invites art lovers to give themselves into the frenetic pace of Lebanese conviviality, appetite for discovery, and sense of celebration.
